Every journal is micropolished to a 3 or better R.A.

Target bobweight is +/-2%.
The Eagle ESP Forged 4340 steel crankshafts feature a non-twist forging and undergo a multi-stage heat treatment process as well as stress relieving, shot peening, and nitriding.
TECH NOTE: For LS1 and LS2 engines up to early 2005 and LS6 and LQ9 engines with the 24 tooth reluctor. Eagle LS1 crankshafts with reluctor rings feature a new, original equipment style reluctor ring installed and checked for runout.
